President - Valerie Juarez
Responsible for all chapter activities. Normally presides at all meetings of the chapter, and represents the chapter to the Association. First in the chain of command, presides over, and appoints all committees of the chapter. Also responsible for working with the Computer Science Department and the Advisor for arrangements of the Annual Spring Banquet and Programming Contest.
Vice-President - Ric Guidry
Assumes the duties of the President in the event of the chair's absence, and fulfills those duties assigned by the President. Responsible for the chairs of all committees, which are responsible for arranging weekly activities, fundraisers, and other related functions for the chapter.
Secretary - Kasey Doss
Keeps the minutes of all chapter meetings. Prepares the annual chapter activity report, which is presented to the chapter at the end of the program year - normally at the meeting when newly elected officers formally assume their posts. Prepares reports to be sent to ACM headquarters as required. The secretary must also notify ACM Headquarters of changes in officers or sponsor of the chapter. Likewise, the secretary must send official notification to the ACM Chapter Coordinator of any proposed changes in the chapter's bylaws for approval, prior to their distribution to the membership.
Treasurer - Daniel Vincent
Collects dues and maintains the financial and membership records of the chapter. Must also file the annual report of the chapter's finances required by the Treasurer of ACM.
SGA Representative - open
Represents the Lamar ACM Chapter at all SGA meetings and is our liaison with the Lamar University Student Government Association. Must report to the chapter to allow the chapter to be involved and aware of the ongoings and events at the University.
Webmaster - James Carnley
Updates and deals with all website administration, issues, and concerns. Responsible for correct running of website and server.
Fundraising Chair - open
Responsible for the organization, planning, and implementations of fundraisers for the organization. Must have a minimum of one fundraiser per month in each semester. Appoints tasks required for fundraisers, set up volunteer schedules. Must obtain the documents and requirements for each fundraiser, such as reservations at the Setzer Center, and the Health Department.
Activities Chair - open
Responsible for organizing weekly activities. Lamar ACM activities are normally held once every week, usually during the weekend. Deals out tasks to committee members and volunteers as needed, and is repsponsible for obtaining the permissions prior to the activity.
